Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 2 Timothy 4:2 There are times in my walk with Jesus when I realize that I have yet to learn the discipline necessary to follow as I should the instruction of the Holy Spirit in this verse. Have I failed my children? Have I failed in the Godly instruction of those who have sought wise counsel from me? I pray that the answer is no. I pray that the Holy Spirit speaks the wisdom of Christ through me, and I pray as well for the hearts of those who hear my voice, that they may instead hear the voice and message of the Holy Spirit working in and speaking to their lives. I pray as well, Father, that I might not be a "convenience" servant- and that my heart, mind soul and spirit be an open and willing instrument, humbly and obediently seeking Your will and Your way not only in my life, but in the counsel of others as well. May Your Spirit dwell always within me, that I might faithfully accomplish ALL that You have set before me- while ALWAYS giving praise and glory and honor to the one Lord Jesus Christ! Sola Jesu!
