Preacher: Sister Idaline Joelle. Topic: YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN! Jesus tells us that the gates of heaven are closed to us unless we are born again. Therefore, I ask: Friend, are you born again? Church member, are you born again? If not, then you are lost. For Jesus says: Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John: 3:3) You may ask, “What does being born again mean? Today there are a lot of misconceptions about the new birth. Its not baptism, for some were baptized and yet not born again. (Acts: 8:16:25). Its not joining the church, for some slipped in unawares. (Galatians: 2:4, Jude: 1:4) Its not eating of the Lords table, for some ate unworthily and it brought condemnation. (1Corinthians:11:29:30) Its not reform or trying to live better, for many, I say unto you, you will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. (Luke: 13:24) Its not just praying for Jesus said: This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. (Matthew: 15:8:9, Isaiah: 29:13) Someone may say if I try and do all I can give to the poor, visiting the sick and be as good as I can every day, then surely I am born again. (Ephesians: 2:8:9, 2Timothy:1:9, Titus: 3:5, Isaiah: 64:6, Galatians: 2:16) No, we cannot be what we are not: For the carnal mind is not subject to the law of God neither indeed can be. (Romans: 8:7) We must have a change of heart. For God by the prophets says: A new heart also I will give you. (Ezekiel: 36:26) THEN WHAT IS THE NEW BIRTH? The new birth consists of a change of the heart from a life of serving self to one of serving the Lord. This comes when we feel remorse for our sinfulness and in faith look to Jesus for forgiveness. When a child is born, a new life comes forth, a new person in the flesh. So likewise, when we are born again, a new life in Christ Jesus after the Spirit comes forth. Therefore, its called a birth, a new life in Christ Jesus. The Bible says in 2Peter:3:9 : The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 1Timothy: 2:3:4 WHEN MAY I EXPECT TO BE BORN AGAIN? YOU CAN BE BORN AGAIN, NOW AND TODAY! For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians: 6:2 TODAY if ye will hear His voice. (See: Hebrews: 3:7:8 ; 3: 15; 4:7) That means at any age, time or place, if you hear the call and respond, you can be born again by the Spirit. How long will it take? Must I not grow into the new birth? No, we are born into the kingdom of God and that makes us children and heirs. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ. (Romans: 8:17, Galatians: 3:26) This takes place the moment you surrender all and come to Christ Jesus for pardon. How and when do we receive it? God who looks on the heart (1Samuel:16:7), sees your sincerity. He comes to you through the power of the Holy Spirit and creates within you a new spirit. (Psalm: 51:10) Thus, you are born again in a new creature in Christ Jesus by faith in Him. (2Corinthians:5:17) Finally: How may I know that I am born again? Apostle Paul said in Romans: 8:9: Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Romans: 10:9:10 says: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Bible says the lost are dead in sin, condemned and have an evil conscience. They are carnally minded, without hope, disobedient, and without God in the world. But, a born again Christian is a child of God, alive in Christ, saved, without condemnation, and has a good conscience. He is also spiritually minded, filled with the Holy Spirit and faith, and has a hope of everlasting life. His sins are blotted out by the blood of Christ Jesus. His heart is filled with love and peace of God which surpasses all understanding. (See: Philippians: 4:7, Hebrews: 8:12) He loves, desires and has the power to do the Lords will. He cherishes a hope beyond the grave, and the promise of a home in heaven. Could anyone go through such a change and not realize it? Hardly, for The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God (Romans: 8:16) If you have not had this experience with the peace and joy it brings to the soul, do not rest, for you are trifling with God and your own soul. ARE YOU BORN AGAIN? Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (John: 3:3) No one will enter Gods Kingdom, except He or She is born again. How do you expect to make it to Heaven without being born again if Nicodemus couldnt? You cannot join the family of God you MUST be born into it. You cannot make a Christian out of anybody. True Christians are NOT made, they are BORN. Your trouble is NOT on the outside, but on the inside. (See: 2 Corinthians: 11:13:15, Matthew: 23:27:28) You do NOT need Exterior decoration, but rather Interior Regeneration. Selah. STOP PLAYING CHURCH! STOP PRETENDING TO SERVE THE LORD GOD WHILE SERVING SATAN! Your PROBLEM is NOT on the Outside, but on the Inside. You appear to Christians as a true man of God, but on the inside you are a satanist. The bottomless pit awaits you! YES, YOU! REPENT NOW OR PERISH LATER IN THE LAKE BURNING WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE!!! No wonder Jesus Christ said: Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead mens bones, and of all uncleanness. Even so ye also Outwardly appear righteous unto men, but Within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity. Selah. Words of Jesus Christ: Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your Hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. Luke: 16:15 True Christians are NOT made, they are BORN. John:1:12: 13 says: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were BORN, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (See also: 1John: 3:1:3, Romans: 8:15:17, 2 Peter: 1:4, Isaiah: 56:5) Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1Peter:1:23 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians: 3:26 YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN! Jesus Christ said in John: 3:8: The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. WHAT THE NEW BIRTH IS. It is a mystery you cannot explain, but also a reality no man can explain away. Just as Nicodemus could not understand or explain the wind, so no man can understand or explain the new birth. But the wind is a reality no man can explain away. Only a fool would say I do not believe in the wind because I have never seen it and I cannot understand it. See the wind move the big limbs of an oak. Watch the wind tear a house to splinters. You cannot deny the reality of the wind. You cannot see the Holy Spirit. You cannot explain Him. The Bible says in Acts: 2:1:4: And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing Mighty WIND, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (See also: Ezekiel: 3:12:14, Acts:8:39:40) Watch the wind tear a house to splinters. You cannot deny the reality of the wind. You cannot see the Holy Spirit. You cannot explain Him. See His mighty power make the harlot pure, lesbians and gays straight, the liar honest, the drunkards sober, the blasphemer pray, the users of evil powers behind the pulpit forsake all and repent of their use of evil powers behind the pulpit, the sinners saints, and then try to deny the reality of the wind. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. JESUS CHRIST SAID: YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN! (John: 3:7) Heres the opportunity for you to receive the new birth or be born again: Pray this prayer with meaning in your heart: Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I thank you because you love me. Jesus Christ, I believe in my heart that you are the son of God and that you died for me, so that my sins can be forgiven. And I believe that you were raised from the dead, so that I may be justified. Right now, I ask you to come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. I confess you now as my Lord and my Saviour. Thank you because I am NOW born again and a brand new person and that I will one day be with you in heaven. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen! If you meant this prayer in your heart congratulations, you are now a child of God, and your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad. Alleluia! A Bible believing Church is one that believes in the truth of the Bible and practices the teachings of Jesus Christ in our daily walk. Be baptized and tell others about Jesus Christ.
