Prepare for shameless begging ;) As a starting indie author its always difficult getting exposure since there is so much material being put out every single day that readers have difficulty sorting through the chaff to find the wheat. Chris Nuttall set up this shared universe so that authors could contribute to a common setting and create a rising tide effect which will in part help under-exposed authors get a look from readers who already enjoy the collective work of the group. When I finally arrive, as it were, Ill be doing the exact same thing as a way of giving back to the community...but Im not there yet. Which brings us to the shameless begging part ;) Book Three: Rebels and Patriots, and Book Four: Ure Infectus, have five and two reviews respectively and it would be of great benefit to both entries in the series if those numbers were higher. If youve read and enjoyed either of those books, it would mean a great deal to all of us in the Imperium Cicernus cooperative if youd take a minute to jot down your impressions. Nobody needs to write Shakespearian dissertations but during a new books first thirty days the customer reviews are really what drives Amazons internal marketing/presentation systems, and they also provide social proof to prospective customers as to how the reading public has received the work. Im looking forward to future contributions in the universe, as well as interactions with our eager fans :)
