Presentation of the Project “Clean Air for Georgia” On September 5, 2014, the presentation of the project “Clean Air for Georgia” (“Air Quality Civil Monitoring”) will be held in Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel in Tbilisi at 17-00, which is implemented by the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”, “Eco Vision” and “Elva”. The air quality monitoring data received from the different regions of Georgia will be analyzed. The air quality data was accumulated with the air monitoring sensors that are installed in different cities. The web-page haeri.ge will be presented, where all the air quality information is displayed. The causes and influences of air pollution on people’s health will be analyzed. The project participant organizations will sum up the goals and accomplishments of the project. Within the project, the journal “Clean, Safe, Fear and Green Transport” will be presented to the wide public. The documentary movie about the air quality in Georgia will be shown. The discussion will be developed. The meeting will continue for 3 hours. The event will be attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Protection of Georgia and other institutions, non-governmental organizations, EU, international organization, embassies, media and eco-clubs. The project “Clean Air for Georgia” is implemented by USAID, East-West Management Institute (G-PAC project), and EASST. The goal of the project was to improve the air quality level in Georgia.
