President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan is a complete failure (Press comments credited to OBJ) Much as I am not a GEJ supporter not because I hate Goodluck the man but because I do not think that he is the man for Nigeria for this moment, I must not hesitate to express my disappointment over OBJs constant bashing of this man. Last week I saw Tony Blair on CNN talking about world peace abd humanity and so also others like Clinton and Bush who are travelling round the world doing good and not interfering in leadership in their countries. I wondered why no one has enough respect for this man OBJ to advise him to stop hitting up the polity and concentrate on some much needed charity work. On a very serious note is he not casting aspersions on himself? Who made GEJ the vice president of Nigeria? GEJ, Me or him? As a leader who was desirous of handing over his beloved country to competent leaders should he not have left that decision to the people? I guess like many selfish African leaders he wanted a puppet not realising that GEJ is a stallion that can bolt without the jockey. He possibly thought that he could realise his 3rd term agenda through the back door with Jonathan as the gate man but got it wrong. So this is his tantrum disguised as patriotism. He did not consider Atikus fit to succeed him but he is now his choice candidate over GEJ. He must be made to understand that the decision on who leads Nigeria is for Nigerians not him and his political gamers I think that he should leave Jonathan and Nigerians alone and concentrate on building humane bridges that will be his legacy. If Jonathan has failed he has failed too because he did not have the presence of mind to find and impose on us a leader of the calibre he thinks that Jonathan is not. He should leave him alone to concentrate on the job and stop encroaching on leadership plus causing unnecessary disaffection. Nigerians can decide for themselves now and always. We just need him to leave us alone.
