President Jonathan approves the appointment of principal officers for NICT, Uromi, Edo State President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved the establishment of the National Institute of Construction Technology, Uromi, Edo State. The President also approved the appointment of principal officers for the school. The President approved the appointment of Engineer (Professor) Sunday Ohousi Onahaebi (Edo State) Rector, Dr (Mrs) Martha Ajonye (Benue State), Deputy Rector, Mr Okwor Ephraim Eze (Ebonyi State) Registrar, Mr Henry Okujagu (Rivers State) Bursar and Mrs Okidi Ijeoma Ann Achi (Abia State) Librarian. Minister of State for Education, Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike on Wednesday said that with the approval of principal officers of the Institute by the President, take off procedures will commence in earnest. He noted that the administration will continue to take steps that will lead to the creation of jobs for the youths and improve on the ability of youths to be employers of labour through skills acquisition premised on technical and vocational education.
