President Mayardit, leaders are prefect embodiment of people’s values, identities, and symbols of pride. Leaders like you, Mr. President, Dr. Riek, and V.P. Wani among others are embodying South Sudanese from different walks of life and aspirations. Reckless issuance of decrees to embarrass those OF whom you had opposing political ideologies was unwise moved on your side. It is unfortunate you have done what you done without calculating and analyzing the nature of their (opposition) responses. Such a premature moved places you on the wrong side of the history. You have done yourself a greater injustice to the max. Tactical uses of coercion, fascism, censorship do not fit with the 21st century definition of leadership. Leadership is all about inspiring, motivating, delegating, trusting, visioning, and influencing, among others. But you have fundamentally failed to inspire followers due to a lack of CLEAR and COMPELLING VISION. Your failures have provoked discontentment… Mr. President, you have purposefully invited and extended damage NOT only to yourself (damage to your own reputation & legacy); or on those of whom you have opposing political ideologies BUT to their families, clans, ethnic groups, and social networking (b’se leaders are perfect EMBODIMENT of people’s values, identities, & sense of pride). Innocent lives have been lost, pain and suffering have been inflicted, and levels of chaos and anarchy have skyrocketed. However, Mr. President, your leadership is continuously engaging in trivial politicking in the same speed as rebels INSTEAD of engaging on avenues that will help to reconcile those radical and rigid ideals separating us. You’re the leader, Mr. President and you should know, ‘everything rises and falls on leader.’ I wish, you could have thought through the ramifications surrounding your decisions before sacking your ‘CABINET TEAM’ to bolster and enlarge your political parameters. Mr. President, leadership requires substantial level of wisdom. ‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.’
