President Michael Sata has with immediate effect revoked the appointment of Stephen Masumba as deputy minister in the Ministry of Youth and Sports. In a statement released by Post newspaper Press attache to State House Goerge Chellar, Mr. Sata thanked Masumba for the services rendered to the government and wished him success in his future endeavors. Masumba was yesterday sentenced to 12 months imprisonment with hard labour for forging the NIPA Diploma which he has been using to get employment except for the position of deputy minister in Sata’s government where educational qualifications don’t matter. Mr. Sata himself claims to be a pilot, a journalists, and a degree holder yet he has never shown anybody his papers and so far no one has publicly confessed to being his former classmate at any institution in the world, and of course no one can ask him about his former teachers at this age and stage.
