President Museveni’s Interview with Al Jazeera to Air on Sunday Girlresident Yoweri Museveni was interviewed by Al Jazeera (English Television) on the sidelines of the 68th UN General Assembly in New York. The Interview is set to air on Sunday at 10:30pm East African time. Al Jazeera journalist, James Bays questioned Museveni on a number of issues such as the peace process in Democratic Republic of Congo ,the situation in Central African Republic ,views on the International Criminal Court bias on Africa,engagement in the Somalia Peace process among other issues. Internally ,Museveni was asked to defend his 27- year- old rule ,the recent shutdown of media stations over a conflict with the former commander of intelligence services ,Gen David Sejusa, the fight against corruption and other issues.
