President Obama is calling for calm and says we are a nation of shared values. Im sorry Mr President. We are NOT a nation of shared values. We are as deeply divided as weve ever been in my lifetime. We are deeply divided in values. I have been estranged from my brother over these deep differences in values. I have difficulties at times with my sister whom Ive been closest to of my siblings. Im afraid to talk with my father and mother about it as all I know is that my mother is hurt and unhappy at such serious discussions. No Mr. President. You cant hope us to unity. I think we would be better served knowing were DEEPLY riven in two by the deep mistrust and corrupting factors on both sides of the debate. What is the way out? I wish I knew. Love must be in there somewhere though. Of that much I am certain. Peace #Ferguson and all of my friends.
