In the course of the official meeting ceremony, the Head of State has been welcomed by Governor-General of Australia Peter John Cosgrove and his wife Lady Lynne Cosgrove. On the porch of the official residence of the Governor General, the President has watched the guards of honor. The orchestra has performed the anthems of Ukraine and Australia. Petro Poroshenko and Mrs. Maryna Poroshenko left a note in the Book of Honored Guests. In the course of the meeting, Petro Poroshenko noted Australias active support to Ukraine in the international arena.
