President of the Barbados National Council for Parent-Teacher Association Rhonda Blackman has appealed for assistance for students who are in urgent need of school supplies. The association recently concluded a needs assessment at primary and secondary schools. At the conclusion of the three-exercise it was discovered that some students are in need of books, shoes, school fees, khaki pants and other items that could cost up to $10,000 overall.
