Press Release | Thursday, August 14 George Galloway sells out Belfasts Ulster Hall With more than a week to go, his one-man show Saturday Night with George Galloway is a sell-out at Belfasts 1000-capacity Ulster Hall. Im stunned and really, really pleased that this is such a hit. I always receive a great reception in the north of Ireland but this surpasses anything in the past. I am honoured and grateful to the people of Belfast and beyond and I can promise a cracking show, the Bradford West MP said. The show sold-out today, Thursday, and since that Georges website has been inundated with hopes that he come back to the hall soon. I know that many, many people have been unable to get a ticket. Im presently involved in a mammoth tour in Scotland called Just Say Naw, campaigning for a no vote in the referendum, and I am sure that many people in the audience next Saturday will be asking me why? Ill give my reasons and I will make a promise to come back to Belfast just as soon as I can, he said. The show has been the focus of attempts by some unionist politicians to have it banned. Just fancy that, said Galloway, the response in the surge of tickets clearly indicates that people value free speech and want to hear what I have to say. A thousand people are paying £12 to hear my views. Im not sure anyone would turn up to hear any other politician if he or she paid them twelve quid.
