Press Release – Haytham Pictures - Sunday, June 9, 2013 *(Adding information on families requests and communication issues) We have no news of our photojournalist Edward Elias, and his colleague Didier François, journalist for the french radio Europe 1. Edward was on assignment for Europe 1 with Didier François for a subject on Syria. The two journalists reached the Turkish-Syrian border late Wednesday evening and the last contact with them was established late Thursday morning when Didier François confirmed to Europe1 that they were on their way to Aleppo. At this very moment, we are in contact with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe 1 and waiting for more information. *At the request of the families of Edouard Elias and Didier François, supported by Europe 1 and Haytham Pictures, we invite you not to stage any public gathering of demonstration in support of the two journalists.
