Press release for Chrome Motors Donation of a van to Canalside Community radio! in recognition of the superb voluntary work that Canalside Radio have shown to the town this year, Local community supporter Chrome Motors of Beech Lane decided they deserved a reward! Managing Director of Chrome Motors Danny Towns hands the keys to the station Manager Nick Wright of Canalside to a new van to assist the station with transport to the many outside events that the station attends throughout the year. the relationship between the two companies was born out of Canalsides assistance to attend the Chrome Soccer 7s event this summer and it hasnt stopped there. Dual involvement took place at Macclesfield Cricket Club Bonfire, the legends 20/20 cricket events and various other Community focused days. Danny Towns believes the support this local radio shows this town is outstanding. they ask for nothing in return and always have positive Can Do approach to any event we get involved in. they are certainly a community champion! this has been an outstanding year for chrome on our community front and we decided to pat someone else on the back! it seems fitting to reward Canalside with a much needed van to get to new events. Canalside will be preforming outside broadcasts at this years light switch on Saturday 29th November!
