Pretty crazy... Alone time is beautiful if youre open to exploring it, and the best and most pure alone time I choose to engineer into my life is floating in a sensory deprivation tank. Its the truest alone time I have access to on a regular basis, and as a result, dramatically optimized my health on all levels, plus allows me the free flowing space to be fully present with my own thoughts, feelings, sensations, and ideas without the persuasive unconscious influence of anyone or anything around me, at least for the duration of my float. It may be challenging for some in the beginning, hence choosing to inflict physical pain over being alone for 15 minutes, although once you do it for a period of time, it may be the best time and presence invested in spending quality time with yourself, which is one of the most brilliant, healing, inspiring, and magnificent gifts we can give ourselves in this crazy busy, noisy, and polluted urban environment of our modern age. Try it out sometime. Youll thank yourself later ;-)
