Pretty much love our Dr. for the kids, upon getting home from my appt. I had a call from the school that Evie was complaining of her ear. Turns out the poor kid has a double ear infection, a cold and other things. I heard something out of our CRNPs mouth Ive never heard before, you are the mom, you know your kids better than anyone.... Usually its, You are too overprotective and dont know what you are talking about........ This practice is changing my patience with the medical community, (childrens helped that along too). For those that are unaware we had a very long struggle with Hunter, had the Dr. just listened to me 2 years prior about a problem we were having with him, he wouldnt of had to go through a heck of a lot of therapy each week, in home and then out patient. He struggled through school and other situations so greatly, when we could of been combating his issues as a toddler instead. I was told I wasnt a dr. and therefore what she said was correct and that was that. Then he was diagnosed by a therapist with the exact issues I presented her with. Then nurses treated him like utter crap anytime we had to go to the dr. because that doesnt hurt!! (when pain for my son was 10x what it would be for a normal child) Then had to hear the same nurse rant in my earshot about how mothers just baby their kids and dont teach them anything these days....
