Prevailing Wage Data Processor is needed in the Fayette County area. Job Description: Process payroll and fringe benefit information received from clients in order to perform the computations required to properly calculate and fund Prevailing Wage required fringe benefits. Includes editing and confirmation of data received, data entry, verification of calculations performed, production of documentation as required and explanation of this documentation to affected client employees. Must sign a confidentiality agreement. Job Requirements: Absolute attention to detail, accuracy, ability to follow procedure, direction and focus on the task assigned, basic computer skills (Windows 7, MS Office, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat), numbers oriented, conscientious. Personality traits: Optimistic, attentive, quality oriented, quiet, business like demeanor, punctual, dependable, respectful, no drama. Office Attitude: Professional, respectful, quiet, straight forward, honest, helpful, proud of the work we do and how we do it, no cliques or drama, no smoking on property. Training Criteria: Employees will have their progress graded periodically (every 2-3 weeks) and should be on track to accomplish these items at the conclusion of their 13 week training period. A. Job Requirements: 1. Establish computer habits and data entry methods required by the Company deemed appropriate for the particular task being performed. 2. Demonstrate basic Excel skills such as save as, hide, set page breaks, refresh links, etc. 3. Understand and define the different types of Prevailing Wage and differentiate between the regulations that define them. 4. Understand and demonstrate the ability to calculate Blended Average Overtime. 5. Understand and demonstrate the ability to determine appropriate funding for Prevailing Wage Required Fringes based on wage determinations and Client specific criteria. 6.
