Prime Minister Skerrit Attends CARICOM’s 25th Intercessional Meeting Roseau, Dominica – Sunday, March 9, 2014 – Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit, Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Foreign Affairs and ICT, left the state on Saturday March 8, 2014 to attend the 25th Intercessional Meeting of the Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community, CARICOM. The meeting is taking place at Buccament Bay, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The two day meeting, (March 10 to 11, 201), will focus on information and communication technology, human resource development, sustainable development in the region and the state of the regional economy. Before arriving in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Prime Minister Skerrit addressed the 63rd Annual Delegates’ Conference of the St. Lucia Labour Party on Sunday, March 9, 2014 as the Guest Speaker. The delegates’ conference was held at Reunion, Chosiel, in the southern part of St. Lucia. Honourable Rayburn Blackmore Minister for Public Works, Energy and Ports will act as Prime Minister while Prime Minister Skerrit is off island.
