Prince Chestnut welsh section d cross (suspected with Arab) gelding 14.3hh for sale. The gorgeous cheeky chap will be 8 years old this year and has been with his current owner since he was 1 year old. He is not a novice and will test you to see what he can get away with. He is strong to lead on the ground, but once he knows who is boss he is fine to lead in a regular head collar and lead rope. He is good to groom, tack up and for the farrier. He will box but needs encouragement as he does not travel often. Prince does wind suck and wears a miracle collar which works for him. Prince likes to come into his stable on a night. He will hack out alone or in company but can be a bit spooky when he is ridden out alone. When out with others horses very little phases him and he will walk past most traffic such as cars, buses and lorries. He is very soft in his mouth and is ridden in a lose ring gag on the second hole to pull his head under but needs little pressure to stop. Prince can get a little excitable and has been known to have a little giddy buck when asked for canter. Prince has done a little pony club jumping and a tiny bit of xc. Prince needs a rider with lots of confidence who can take him further. Sale due to lack of time and he is being wasted due to his, could do well in the right hands.
