Princess Katherine of Greece, married Richard Brandram on 21 April 1947 at the Royal Palace in Athens. She was the third daughter and sixth child of King Constantine I of Greece and Sophia of Prussia. He was son of Richard Andrew Brandram and Maud Campbell Blaker. Her brother King Paul I of Greece, acted as best man at the wedding. The couple settled in England, where she received permission to style herself Lady Katherine Brandram from King George VI, who also granted her the status of a Dukes daughter in the order of precedence. The couple had an only child, Richard Paul George Andrew Brandram (b. 1 April 1948).
