Prior to a comment about iPhone 6, I should admit that, since Apple had launched iPhone 3, I have never used other phones except iPhones. I believed that iPhone was the worlds best phone compared to its competitors, and the belief still remains. In spite of all the virtues iPhone has, however, the latest Apple presentation at Cupertino was extremely disappointing. What makes Apple the top global company in the world and what makes Jobs the best high-tech guru was that, whenever Apple releases a new product, he always introduced it with a logical explanation. For example, when he introduced iPod nano, he lifted it from his coin pocket and said it is so small that it even fit there. Likewise, when he showed iPad, he revealed it sitting in a couch, with an explanation: phone is too small to read news or to watch movies and laptop is hard to hold for a long time on a couch; therefore, he said, people need iPad. After the gurus death, a group of tech-geeks who remains in Apple does not ask fundamental questions anymore: why they should invent something; why they should make it smaller or thinner, or, at the latest event, wider. The screen of iPhone 6 Plus is 5.5 inches long, but we could not hear the reason why they gave up the virtues small screen only supplies. The wider a screen is, the harder we can hold it; also, it causes pain in wrist. That is why Jobs insisted small screen for phones. He might think that ㅡ if you need wider screen for movie or news, why dont you use iPad, which is the perfect product for the very purpose? Isnt it awkward to sell both wide-screen phone and iPad at the same time? It compels customers ask to themselves ㅡ Do I need iPad mini, while I already have a little bit smaller screen phone than that? Or do I need iPhone plus, while I already have little bit wider screen such as iPad mini? In short, iPhone 6 plus and iPad mini contradict themselves. Its not finished yet. The worst thing for iPhone 6 is its bulged camera. Whenever Tim Cook presents Apples new product, he embellishes his presentation with the comments like absolutely great, perfect product, and we made it seamlessly. Not to make these comment exaggeration, the product really has to be seamless and perfect, but its bulged eye looks too amateurish and too imperfect; most of all, it doesnt coincide with Apples well-know philosophy: perfection. This disaster aptly shows an impasse at which Apples tech-geeks are. They might want to follow worlds trend, with a thinner body, like Samsungs thinner Galaxy, but they also might not be able to give up the high-tech camera. In my opinion, however, If they could not flatten the back of iPhone 6, they should give up either thinner width or a good camera. Without deciding between these contradictory desires, consequently, tech-geeks caused the mindless result; and Tim Cooks bragging became a mere exaggeration.
