Prior to a workout we prepare the body and mind for movement and load. We increase body temperature. We mindfully expand our range of motion with deliberately chosen movements. We acquaint ourselves with muscles left unused for most of our day. We get in tune with our breath. We listen to what our bodies are telling us about our physical state right now. We connect with friends to enjoy a physical practice together. We dont stretch.
