Prioritize After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward. (Genesis 15:1).He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. (Matthew 10:37-38).Relationship is a powerful thing in the life of every individual the products could either be positive or negative depending on the kind of relationship. I often believe that its better to loose money than to loose a good relationship. And also its advisable to do away with any relationship that does not affect your life positively. You could therefore imagine the type of reaction that may have gone through the mind of Abram when God asked him to do away with every relationship save his marriage in order for him to achieve his purpose in life. Jesus further iterated the same when He said He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. Its easier preached than experienced though. The truth of the matter is that Abram would not have qualified for the compensation and rewards he got if he was not prepared to make God his priority and make others insignificant in His life. My assignment this sunday morning is to encourage you to make God and His kingdom your priority this year. And may the God of all faithfulness give you an inheritance among those that are sanctified in Jesus name
