Prison authorities have expressed concern at the level of congestion at Zomba Maximum Prison, which they say is threatening to negatively impact on the health of the inmates. Latest figures show that there are 2,121 prisoners at the facility against the supposed 800. This has raised fears of Tuberculosis (TB) outbreak among them. According to Assistant Commissioner of Prisons, Raphael Mushali, they are also struggling to adequately feed the huge number of prisoners from the limited resources at their disposal.#Malawi
