Prisoner gives slip to police in Baramulla court Srinagar, April 28: (GNS) A youth, who was arrested, five months back, Monday escaped from local court complex Baramulla. Yasir Mir son of Abdul Rashid Mir, a resident of Hazratbal escaped police custody before being produced the local court, official sources told GNS. Mir, police said, was taken into custody in connection with alleged drug peddling case under FIR no. 47/2013 under section 8/18 NDPS Act by police station Sheeri, Baramulla almost 5-months ago. Following the escape police carried out raids at number of places to arrest Mir. However, when last reports came in Mir was on run.
