Pritviraj Kothari of RSBL is raided because 5 days back he spoke against policies of PC & RBI. In a TV interview by CNBC st his office, he said PC does not understand Indian economics. If he wants to control inflation, he has to control oil & fuel imports. There is no need to control gold imports by raising import duties. If oil import is controlled, rupee will come to 50/= per dollar. PC should bring out some scheme wherein Indian middle class shall deposit its gold with the govt. instead of keeping in lockers. Only last 20 years of gold will be about 20000 tonnes, officially imported in India. If you calculate hold of last 200 years, it will be atleast 10 lakhs tonnes of gold in Indian households. With this much gold Indian govt. can then revalue its rupee with world currencies with the gold holdings of each country. Yeh sun kar PC aur Subbarao Dono ki pant dhili Ho gayee. So they raided RSBL.
