Prizle.Com Launches In Malaysia By: Sheralynn Veronica, Malaysia Published: Jul 05, 2013 ONLINE PLATFORM CONTEST BUSINESS TOOL Malaysia - Singapore-based Prizle was launched yesterday, marking the first integrated online contest platform in Malaysia. Much like a group-buying site, Prizle creates a ready platform for consumers to participate in an unlimited number of contests and lucky draws for opportunities to win prizes. Consumers of 18 years and above can participate for free in an unlimited number of contests that are featured across 30 categories - from travel, shopping, mobile, health & fitness to weddings. Subscribers can also collect Prizle points, which can be exchanged for vouchers and special gifts. Founded by Fabian Lim of Click Media, and husband-wife team - Jamie Lee and Violet Lim of dating site Lunch Actually, Prizle makes it easier and more cost-effective for businesses of all sizes and industries to make use of this platform to reach their target audience. Businesses are charged a fee of RM400 for each contest created. To ensure protection of Prizle subscribers, Prizle will only release details of the participants to the company after the winners are announced. Companies have to sign a contractual agreement to ensure that the prizes are given out to the winners. For businesses, Prizle is positioned as an open-ended platform that provides accurate new leads, public engagement (feedback, ideas, education) and better return on investment. Businesses can also gain immediate awareness and access to an already existing base of consumers. "Prizle is a one-stop solution for consumers to participate in any number of contests on a daily basis in minutes while businesses can create their own contests online easily and cost effectively using our contest creation engine. Alternatively, they can look to us to help them create the contest for them," says Lim, co-founder and chief executive officer of Prizle. Some of the brands that are already on board include Red Army Watches, Alfero Gelato, Khieven Private Limited, Mont Hope Clinic and more. Prizle will be launching in the Philippines in the next 90 days and in 2014, it will take on Vietnam and Indonesia. Plans are underway to launch Prizle in Thailand and Hong Kong in 2015 and Australia in 2017. To date, Prizle boosts more than 30 contests in Malaysia, with a total value of RM100,000 worth of prizes. To reward Prizle subscribers in Malaysia, Prizle announced the launch of "Be a Millionaire for a Day" contest, with total prizes valued at approx RM12,000. Prizes include cash, shopping vouchers and a ride on a private airplane for two to Singapore (valued at RM4,800).
