**** AVAILABLE VIA OUR ADOPTION SCHEME **** Bold Diktator (aka Buddy) is a 16.2 12 year old bay gelding who raced mostly on the flat and won and been placed under rules. Lovely temperament, kind nature. Loves to be groomed. He is excellent to catch and lead, excellent to travel and good with the farrier. He isnt too keen on having his mane pulled. He is brilliant with other horses , never once tried to kick or bite. He does have own paddock at current yard but has been turned out with others previously. He was previously purchased as a mother daughter share but has proven too sharp/spooky out hacking for this role. He is a sensible lad who never rears, bucks or bolts but he does spook out hacking. He will hack both alone and in company but much prefers company. He is good with traffic, including tractors but can get on his toes with fast large lorries. He doesn’t get silly in company, but can sometimes get a bit strong during faster work with others. Ridden mostly in a snaffle or Wilkie bit. He needs work with flatwork, something we have been building up gradually as he hadn’t done any, and also jumping, he isn’t the bravest horse but always tries. We have been advised he previously hunted with past owners. He is on light feed as not working much, he maintains weight well. Currently living out but quite happy to come in at night too. A lovely lad who deserved a 5* forever home. He would suit most jobs, has no ongoing medical issues but will require an experienced rider due to his spookyness and tendency to spin when he spooks out hacking. He does forge, had this checked out with farrier and it tends to happen when hes being led in and his hooves catch. Again, nothing thats likely to cause him any ongoing problems.
