ProTools 11 gets a big thumbs up from me so far :-) I recently took advantage of the special upgrade pricing and upgraded to it and the CPU performance is very good indeed in 11! I loaded up CS80-V, Mini-V, Modular-V, Jupiter8-V, *2* instances of Reaktor 5 with heavy ensembles and 19 FX, and was playing them all simultaneously and it was still not hitting 100% (This on a 2.2G Hz Core i7 Mac with 16GB RAM). There are still a couple of days to upgrade if you have an existing iLok 2 (or can get one before the 31st).
