Problems and headache-causing troubles never end and no solutions - TopicsExpress

Problems and headache-causing troubles never end and no solutions are in sight. We live on a dream that the government sees everything that is wrong and commits itself to resolve it to ease the suffering and pain experienced by everyone. Kuwaitis and expatriates alike feel the same way when it comes to slackness in the imposition of the law on all violators, Kuwaitis or non-Kuwaitis. Those who harm the environment, those who expose people’s lives to dangers, those who see themselves above the law, those who pretend they know everything and those who control the destiny of others. We are still dreaming that one day an angel on a white horse would come and solve these problems and end up in a trouble-free society. We will wait for that horse. Among the headache-causing dilemmas are the daily congestions. Few years back we knew that between 7am to 9 am the roads are fully congested so try to avoid this hectic scene by resorting to other roads, whereas now, congestion can be seen 24 hours and even at dawn. 2- When will we see empty hospitals where you would come and be served in 15 minutes like it used to be few years back? 3- When will we see patience and respect of one another on the road? 4- When will we see people giving up a parking space to his or her sister with a smile at a shopping mall or at an ordinary parking space? 5- When will we see some Kuwaitis and expatriates respect the environment, beaches, desert and public places and keeping them clean and adopt anti-littering policy and look with sympathy at those Asians who clean the country for us every morning where some undisciplined persons would come and throw garbage in front of the cleaner making the latter look at him with pity. 6- When will we see the domestic workers recruitment agencies are empty of (returned) house maids who are being exploited by some of the offices to work on an hourly basis, leaving the guarantor puzzled after paying nearly KD 1,000 to bring her in from her country and end up knowing that she no longer wants to work for him. 7- When will we see the salaries of the domestic helper jump reasonably to at least KD 80 to KD100 in equivalence with the nature of the work they do as many start work from 5 am till 12 pm with no rest hour. 8- When will we see some of the guarantor (Kafeel) treat his or her maid like part of the family similar to Prophet Mohammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) when he used to sit with the servants and eat with them. He says that a true Muslim must treat his or her servant as himself through dressing them with decent clothes, giving them the same food that you eat and most importantly treat them like mankind and never make a difference as we are all humans.
