Proclamation by the late Dr Silia, his mission in SL was a calling - TopicsExpress

Proclamation by the late Dr Silia, his mission in SL was a calling by the Almighty God & he knew it wasnt going to be easy but the will of God is more important than his life. We would keep him & his family in our prayers, for all the great contributions hes made in SL. Now to the many questions coming to mind about his sad death.. Is the SL government going to step out of their usual cycle of greed and use the millions of Ebola funds collected to assist Dr Salias wife to reimburse the US government for the $250,000 flight fares? Why is it that every white US citizen survived and all the infected blacks did not survive? Is it right to explore the notion that Ebola is turning into yet another form of modern slavery by the use of biological weapon against Africans? The G20 summit just concluded here in my beautiful city Brisbane, and we had all the most powerful 20 heads of states worldwide in attendance. Interestingly, Ebola outbreak in west Africa was only passively discussed as other important topics such as economic growth, ISIS, and climate change took center stage. At the very time this meeting was being held, over 500 people were reported dead in west Africa due Ebola infection & 1.2Mil Projected deaths in 2 months time (WHO). Comically, my Australia government took to the internal stage more actively since PM Abbott assumed office, to be recognised by his international partners he had to force his way into almost all international issues. Take for instance the ISIS issue, where Australia was seen pleading to take part in the killing and subjugation of Islamic countries to the so-called democratic system of government. That brings me to the point, instead of taken a leading role in killing people (ISIS or Not) why not use our hard earned taxpaying money to assist efforts in saving lives from the deadly Ebola. Now, some will come out with blazing guns defending the Abbott government by reminding me of the $20mil donated to Aspen medical contractors to man the British built disease control centre in SL with 100 staff. Well, permit me to highlight just a few points here, Aspen is a private medical agency, meaning that most of the money donated will be used to pay the contractors at expectorate rate hence part of the money will return to Australia. Secondly, 100 physicians to serve 6 million citizens is a math Ill rather not attempt to do. Lastly, it must be recalled that Mr Abbott was almost compelled into assisting with efforts to curb the Ebola virus, after we wrote some many letters of appeal, Abbott government donated $1mil, then we continued pleading for real assistance in collaboration with our international partners. Then he donated another $8 mil, more pressure from the opposition ALP and the international community to a level of embarrassment, then he donated a further $20mil but refused to support any citizen from travelling to west Africa and save lives, he further went on ceasing visa provision to West Africa. Sadly, 2 weeks before making this statement, the Abbott government was advised by EU that the EU will support any Australian physician travelling to West Africa to aid efforts in the Ebola fight. Yet the Abbott government refused to disclosure this vital information to hundreds of Aussie volunteers desperately waiting on such information to inform their decision. Being such a naive man, Ill think that humanity was more important than money hence the reason Im asking these questions, but clearly thats not the case as evidence by Mr Abbotts actions. These are the questions that come to mind as we say goodbye to the gentle soul of Dr Salia.
