Product Update- MELISSA Due to abnormally wet weather conditions during the narrow Melissa harvest season (two weeks), this year’s Melissa production has been significantly lower than anticipated. The high rainfall dramatically reduced the amount of oil that was released from the plants through the steam distillation process. On September 24, 2014, we temporarily suspended Melissa as a single 5mL oil. We made the decision to ensure our Elevation blend, On Guard+ soft gels, and new Breathe Respiratory Drops, which all include Melissa, would continue to be available. Melissa essential oil is also still included in the Diamond Kit and Every Oil Kit without interruption. We continue to work with our grower partners to secure all possible Melissa essential oil that meets our CPTG Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® quality standards. We will offer Melissa as a single oil again when sufficient supply has been secured.
