Production Support Specialist Genesis Resources, LLC - Addison, TX 75001 This position is responsible for performing business critical tasks during the night shift by following documented procedures and adhering to strict schedules. Responsible for processing, monitoring and maintaining batch processing schedules. This position will require working overnight Sun - Thur. Duties and Responsibilities Follow and update documented processes and procedures Manually run batch cycles via Windows Based application platforms Ensure timely completion of all nightly processes Meet service level agreements (SLAs) Problem determination, problem isolation and escalation Submit, monitor and maintain nightly batch schedules Identify improvement opportunities Technical Requirements Bachelors Degree preferred 3 to 5 years experience in IT Help Desk, Call Center, Computer Operations, Production Support, PC Hardware / Software Technician Working knowledge of XP, Win7, Server 2003 / 2005 / 2008 Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite – 2007 Experience with PCs (H/W and S/W), Win / Unix Servers, IP, Internet, DNS Familiarity with Citrix, RDP Operations, Oracle, SQL DB, SQL Server, Visual Studio, C#, .Net helpful MS Certs and/or equivalent experience a plus Desired Skills Strong verbal and written communications stills. Strong analytical skills. Dependable and dedicated. Must be willing to take ownership of responsibilities. Must be successful working under little supervision. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted day-to-day activities. Demonstrate interpersonal skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and present conclusions; ability to interpret technical information.
