Prof. Yogesh Singh..... As an NCC cadet it was habit to attend flag hosting on 15th Aug & 26th Jan. So even after passing out taking part in such festival became routine weather in Baroda or at the company. Once when I was at Baroda on 15th Aug or 26th Jan (exactly i don’t remember) & go to convocation ground for flag hosting. That day first time i listen him & the way he address the university was.....speechless....he charged everybody on national holiday. After that i always use to start national festivals with his highly inspiring speeches only. Height of his speech was on last 15th Aug one side Narendra Modi was addressing the nation & on the other side Prof. Yogesh Singh was addressing university...i chose to listen Yogesh Singh.......he is such a great speaker. I follow him & his works via newspapers/news channels. Yesterday was his last day as a vice-chancellor at university & grand farewell arranged in his honor at C.C.Mehta auditorium which was house full. Whatever he had done for university (from 16th July 2011 to 29th Dec 2014) can’t describe in the words. From Academics to Administration...From examination to innovation....in every direction he worked & gives result. Infrastructure development was at its best in his time....where VC has power of 60000 rupees only. In his tenure M.S.University became the first Indian university which has online file tracking system for its administration & transparency come in system. Admonition & Examination procedures, hostels, libraries, guesthouse, laboratories facilities improved. New courses introduced new whole institute yet to come. A lot of things he done but he said “a lot i can’t do which i want to. Main i want to work on was to make was classroom learning interesting. But i engage in these all & can’t work on that” nobody noticed still saying these....that’s the quality of great guru. Young & Dynamic vice-chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh was the greatest vice chancellor in the history of M.S.University, Baroda & it was not me who saying this......students to student unions, teachers to teacher union, professors, employees of MSU, deans, principals, syndicate members, senate members....everybody was talking in one tone yesterday & i think it was the biggest achievement for any Vice-Chancellor. युनिवर्सिटी सॉंग के ये शब्दो का साक्षात्कार योगेश सिंघ सर ने अपनी ज़िंदगी मे किया हे...... अमे वडोदरा ना विध्यापीठ ना सपना सारवनरा, अमे ज्योत जलावी सृष्टि नावली सहसा सर्जनहारा, अमे गगनकुसुंब कर धरनारा, अमे मगन मगन थई फरनारा, अगन बाथ अमे भरनारा, अमे दैन्यतिमिर ने हरनारा, श्री सयाजी विध्यापीठ ना ज्ञानदीप ने धरनारा......श्री सयाजी विध्यापीठ ना ज्ञानदीप ने.............धरनारा..... सत्यम.......शिवम.........सुन्दरम नो मंत्र अनंतर भणनारा......... श्री योगेश सिंघ को शत शत नमन और यह ज्ञानदीप संसारमे इसीतरह प्रकाश फेलता रहे ऐसी ही मा सरस्वती से प्रार्थना............સાથે આવજો :) :) :)
