Program Selection in MoanaTV Our programming team has worked hard to improve the selection and quality of channels over the last 5 years. We have heard about your frustration regarding the frequency of repeat programs in our channels. We want to assure that here at MoanaTV we do not control the content that is displayed on most of our channels - we only control MoanaTV Ch3 and Ch6. The owners of the content have full control of what we see and we are not allowed to change any of it. We pickup the content mostly from the USA and all USA content we see in American Samoa is exactly the same content that is shown in either West Coast or Hawaii. And this content is shown here and in West Coast/Hawaii the same day and at time as they see it. Please understand that it is not up to us to select the movies or series that are shown on the various channels that make up our lineup. What we will do is continue to work on adding new channels thus adding variety to your selection and your viewing pleasure. With respect to HBO, we can tell you that we have tried everything we can to secure the rights to deliver HBO to you. We have followed all the requirements and financial conditions, including deposit moneys, to secure this agreement. We have engaged off-island consultants to help us deliver this service to you and after their recommendation last years, we committed to you to deliver HBO. This has not materialized. We will continue to request HBO to deliver on our promise to you. Regardless of all of these reasons, we do apologize to you for not delivering to your expectations and we affirm our commitment to deliver the best and most exciting television services possible for our territory.
