Progress Update! At long last, the helmet base is complete. At this stage we would consider it about 40-50% complete and we have many hours of sanding ahead of us this weekend. Next, the base will be coated in resin, then reinforced with a few layers of fibreglass to make it completely rigid and sturdy. After that, itll be layer after layer after layer of filler to smooth out the edges and add additional resilience to the final product. We love the extra weight of the filler as well, it gives it that authentic armor feel. The two antennae that Ultron has for ears will be one of the last additions before painting. So, lots more to do and lots more to look forward to. We will also be featuring a new side project this weekend; a prop from either Mortal Kombat or Final Fantasy IIV: Dirge of Cerberus. We havent decided yet. :) Anywho, more updates to follow throughout the week!
