Progression of Sunday Gravy Italian sausage and baby back ribs browned. Meatballs made and browned. Onions, garlic, celery, carrots coked till soft then a cup of red wine added until simmered off. Then add the tomato paste sea salt and black pepper. I like to raise the temp then and roast the veggie mix over med heat to get a nice roasted flavor. Then is all in the pot with a bunch of fresh basil except for the balls. They will go in 3 hours... A little cayenne and some basil... When its all cooked it will be served on penne. My great grandma Puccini would be so happy!!!!
