Project Prom needs your dresses, tuxedos (Published Tuesday, March 4th, 2014 09:50AM) MODESTO — Its that time of the year again when high school students are starting to make plans for Senior Prom. For many its a time of joy and celebration, while for others it can a stressful time if buying a dress or renting a tuxedo can put a strain in their pockets. The Latino Community Roundtable of Stanislaus County is stepping in with Project Prom. For the second year in a row, the non-profit will be collecting prom dresses and tuxedos at various locations during the month of March. If you have a donation that needs to be picked up at your home or work, please call/text Tony Madrigal at (209) 579-4776 and hell go pick it up. The prom dress and tuxedo giveaway will be Sunday, April 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Castle Real Estate, 1418 J Street in downtown Modesto. Project Prom open to all students on a first-come first-served basis. Nuevamente es ese tiempo del año cuando los estudiantes de la preparatoria se están preparando para su baile de graduación, mejor conocido como Prom. Para muchos es un tiempo de alegría y celebración, mientras que para otros puede ser un tiempo de estrés ya que el comprar un vestido o rentar un traje formal puede poner tensión en sus bolsillos. La organización no lucrativa Latino Community Roundtable (LCR) del Condado de Stanislaus está ayudando con Proyecto Prom. Por segundo año consecutivo, LCR estará coleccionando vestidos elegantes y trajes formales en varias localidades durante el mes de marzo.
