Proof #53 that Benedict Cumberbatch is cooler than most people...Pity that he has reportedly exited the Guillermo del Toro gothic horror movie Crimson Peak, which is scheduled to begin shooting in January. Del Toro’s Pacific Rim star Charlie Hunnam, Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) and Mia Wasikowska (Stoker) are all still set to star in the film. Though no reason was given for Cumberbatch’s departure, del Toro certainly has time to find a replacement. Even Chastain was technically a sub, and only came on board when Emma Stone dropped out earlier this year.
