Proof that one can care about multiple issues simultaneously: *Ferguson: Injustice is injustice. This is just another example in a long line of examples of how cruel we can be to each other, and how divided we still are as a country. This certainly wont be the last time such a thing happens, and I think that reality is on par with the tragedy itself. *Chelsea Mannings lawyers are threatening to sue over gender identity treatment which was approved by Chuck Hagel himself. The ACLU is involved and officials at Fort Leavenworth have until September to comply and to quit refusing medical treatment to her. *We need reformation on a national level regarding police procedure, which should result in more surveillance of any and all actions enacted while on duty. Policing the police is a good way to remedy a lot (but not all) of insanity, excessive force or any form of misbehavior. *Clinical depression is only brushed off as trivial to those who cannot comprehend it is a mental disorder and is distinct from its more common usage associated with feeling down. Most or all of us have experienced the latter, the same cannot be said for the former - dont treat them like theyre the same. You sound silly when you do. *The discrimination levied via new voter laws need to be confronted, as the numbers show things arent adding up for actual justification of these new rules.For anyone interested, statistics are referenced and experts weigh in on the matter.
