Property Taxes- Hartford Joint #1 property taxpayers should be receiving their 2015 property tax bills shortly. The Districts overall tax levy went down slightly, meaning that the total taxes collected will be less than 2014. The District sends the tax bill to each municipality, and the municipality decides what each property taxpayer will pay. The AVERAGE homeowner will see a slight reduction, but individual bills may vary as some properties may have increased in value while others decreased in value. This is the fourth consecutive year that the School District of Hartford Jt #1 has reduced taxes
