Protagoras has said: Toil and work and instruction and education and wisdom are the crown of glory which is woven from the flowers of an eloquent tongue and placed on the heads of those who love it. The tongues use is not effortless, to be sure, yet its blossoms are abundant and ever fresh, and the onlookers, and those who applaud, and the teachers, rejoice, and the students make progress and the fools are annoyed - or perhaps they are not even annoyed, since they are not intelligent enough. [A saying (falsely) attributed to Protagoras the Sophist].
