Protein Pancake Perfection! Ive posted similar recipes before which have been widely popular so I wanted to re-post this quick and easy, healthy, high-protein recipe again this morning. Checkout how simple this is: Calorie Containing Ingredients (Macros): - 1c. liquid egg whites (230g) - 1 scoop vanilla COASTAL PRO protein powder (30g) - 1/2 -- 1c. oatmeal (40-80g) - 150g mixed berries - 9g cool whip Non-Calorie Containing Ingredients - Cinnamon - Vanilla extract - 2-4 pkts Stevia, Splenda, or whatever suits you - Calorie free pancake syrup (Walden Farms) EASY-TO-FOLLOW STEPS PREPARE BATTER 1. Place skillet over medium-high heat. [I spray a light coat of olive oil to prevent sticking. 2. Pour liquid egg whites into shaker cup 3. Add 1 scoop vanilla COASTAL PRO 4. Add dash of cinnamon and vanilla extract 5. Add packets of Stevia/Splenda 6. Shake in mixing cup for 10-15 seconds. 7. Pour onto heated skillet. First side cooks in about 2 minutes, second side about 1 minute. PREPARE OATMEAL 1. Microwave oatmeal for 1-2 minutes to cook. Add cinnamon and Stevia as needed for taste. Set aside. 2. Combine mixed berries with oatmeal and stir around. After your protein pancakes are cooked, add the oatmeal/berry combination. Top with 9g of Cool Whip if youre like me and want a tasty morning treat and calorie-free Walden Farms pancake syrup. NOTES: - Any vanilla protein will do, but Ive found Coastal Pro cooks well, tastes great, and adds additional fiber (3g) to the meal. - Use more or less oatmeal to better fit your daily macro/calorie allotment. - Change up the fruit. I prefer mixed berries but use whatever fruit you want. - Macros are attached.
