Proud Papa: Had a great weekend in the Bay area last week as LMU beat the University of the Pacific, 3-1 on Friday & tied Saint Marys College on Sunday 2-2. At 8-4-2, the Lions womens soccer program continues to develop & improve each game. My Favorite Freshman, Sarah & her talented teammates are focused on the prize. Key down the stretch will be getting & staying healthy & meeting force with force. As the season winds down the referees are clearly letting them play so the whistle is often silent. The heart & commitment of each player is undeniable. These Lions have a roster of players that together can compete with anyone. In an age of superstar egos & agendas, A Team of One is as refreshing as it is unique. The final 5 West Coast Conference games will be a battle. These Lions never quit, are hungry & in a word are . . . DANGEROUS! Ill tell you one thing . . . I would not want to play them. Its going to be fun to watch. Hit me up for tickets, Family, Friends & Sarahs Former Teammates. Bring signs and make lots of noise. Next game is this Saturday, October 18, 2014 against Brigham Young University at beautiful Sullivan Field in West Los Angeles overlooking Marina Del Rey. Come and root for these dedicated players. Those that know me personally would say I am an optimist but not even in my wildest dreams could I have expected what these girls are achieving this year. Coach Michelle Myers & her passionate staff are building something very special & with your support, I believe we are all going to witness a Rocky-esque finish . . . An inspirational Hollywood ending. Hmmmmmm. Heres some video highlights from this weekends action. BRAVO LMU. Go Sarah! Go Lions!!
