Proud to be an American! So recently I had a chance to ride through Washington D.C. and of everything I saw I have to say I was surprised at my reaction to seeing Arlington National Cemetery. Time and weather did not permit an actual visit but I did see it and here is what I have to say: As the daughter of a U.S. Army veteran I thought I fully understood the price of freedom, but as I tried to take in all the white grave stones it became clear and overwhelming, that I as well as alot of Americans take there freedom for granted! I am so very proud of everyone in my family who has served and is serving and for that matter anyone who has severed our great country! I would suggest that Americans who forget what freedom means go take a visit there. Was a very humbling experience!
