Proud to say I am one of the 7.1 million people who has enrolled in the Affordable Care Act. Being self-employed, a widow, nine year breast cancer survivor with a minor child, this Act has enabled me to insure myself and my daughter at a price I can afford. Not looking for hand outs, food stamps or any other government aid, just wanting to have reasonably priced health care without the BS and outrageous prices of pre-existing conditions. Anyone who knows me and my family knows we come from the hardest working man I have ever known, my dad Bob Lowry, who instilled his work ethic in me and my siblings. Way to go President Obama, the Affordable Care Act aka Obama Care enables me to sleep a little better at night. P.S. I for one would be honored if they renamed Brookwood Junior High after you!!!
