Proverb of the day – a sport? Proverbs 10:23 “It is as sport to a fool to do mischief: but a man of understanding hath wisdom.” Some people make a game out of evil; it is their way of life. They feel unsuccessful unless they expound criticism, analyze someone, spread gossip, or play with sin. I recently saw an article about snake-handlers and thought to myself “How stupid and dangerous!” That is not a sport or religious activity I want to get involved in. Then I see people playing with sin and Satan and think of the ignorance and danger they are placing themselves in. With understanding and wisdom, leave sin and the devil alone and live for God.
