Proverbs 30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives,to devour the poor from off the earth,and the needy from among men. Living In Perilous Times We are truly living in perilous time Paul wrote to Timothy telling him about the dangers of their time. The new media report daily how cruel oppressors are devouring the elderly, the fatherless,the widows and the poverty-stricken. The bible says that neither thieves, nor covetous,nor drunkards,nor revivers, nor extortioners,shall inherit the kingdom of God, Corinthians 6:10 God says:Awake! Cry loud! Show the people their transgressions! Who is crying out from the watchtower? Whos urging us to lament and wail intimeslike these? Many lawmakers wont defend innocent people these days so theyre keeping them down by unjust use of their authority. In many ways,the kingdom of Jesus Christ is being threatened and it behooves us to pray- not compromise, The Bible says:Pray without ceasing, Father, we stand beseeching you to pursue the devourers in our generation. Use us who are standing in the gap. Send Your Word to expose those who persecute children causing them to suffer unnecessary. Save those who feel superior to the poor and needy.So many are burdens and filled with a sense of failure because of those who devour them through cruel word sand deeds.Help the Helpless,Lord! David prayed...His mischief shall return upon his own head, and violent dealing shall come down upon his pate Psalm 7:16 Even as the Lord judge those who contribute to societys problem,so must we as believers,balance the scales through prayer and witnessing. Prayerfully,we acknowledge the Lord as we go in and out among naysayer and contradictors of The Truth! As were led of the Holy Spirit, we will become living epistles-known and read among those whom were sent. Let our testimony be according to obedience,in that were effectively sharing the salvation message to the lost, the forgotten, the needy and the despised ones. A smile, a hug,or a up of coffee-whatever is proper... Is what we seek as we show Christian charity-Godly love. And Father, were read that the evil conceived in the minds of those in our generation will come down upon their own heads. Please keep us wholly committed to following your Word. In these perilous times we truly desire that Jesus Christ will be feared and revered by those who recognize your divine judgement! You alone,are the Judge of this earth and its inhabitants,Amen!
