Provided their meat is clean and they were not stolen, what could - TopicsExpress

Provided their meat is clean and they were not stolen, what could be wrong with eating dogs that must not be equally true of eating pigs or most of the other animals whose flesh humans love to eat after first having the animals killed? What possible moral objection could there be to eating dogs farmed for that purpose that is not also and equally an objection to eating pigs, cows, snakes, chickens and fish? There seems be something deeply irrational here leading to an hypocrisy that is deeply immoral.
